• Build performant backend services and APIs for distributed cloud systems • Write server-side code for high-volume applications • Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code in an agile environment • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders • Resolve bugs reported by QA team • Headquarters in Menlo Park, CA • Aiming to make 3D immersive experience available to everyone
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in relevant field • Expert design and development skills in OOP programming and scalable architectures • Expert development skills in NodeJS, TypeScript, Javascript • Experience with designing and implementing microservices architectures • Deep understanding of NoSQL database schema design, caching and scalability • Experience with building GraphQL APIs and backend services • Experience with profiling and optimization of server backends • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms • Can lead by example or through influence • Highly motivated team player with strong communication skills
