📋 Description
• Create Threat Models to understand DHS IT Enterprise • Identify defensive gaps and prioritize mitigations • Utilize Threat Intelligence to create threat hypotheses • Proactively search through systems to detect advanced threats • Analyze host, network, and application logs • Prepare and report risk analysis and threat findings • Lead cyber threat hunt missions and recommend best practices • Develop scripts to support cyber threat detection • Maintain understanding of the cyber threat landscape
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors Degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience • 5+ years recent experience with host-based and network-based security monitoring • Must be experienced developing scripts to support cyber threat detection • Ability to work independently with minimal direction • One of the following certifications: CISSP, SANS, OSCP, OSCE, OSWP, OSEE, CCSP, LPT, ECSA
