Description
• Responsible for providing technical support and database/software implementation for Sustainment, Development and Testing environments on the IBM’s AIX® proprietary Unix operating system • Experience with DB2 Universal Database Enterprise-Extended Edition (DB2 UDB EEE) • Experience with shell scripting and AWK UNIX tools • Support communication with Team members regarding issue management • Provide Engineering Tier 3 assistance in Help Desk management • Manage large projects or processes within T-FADS • Develop solutions to complex technical issues
Requirements
• Bachelors degree and 8 – 12 years of prior IT and Systems Database Engineering or master’s with 6 – 10 years of IT and Systems Database Engineering • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance • Requires strong writing skills and an attention to detail • Excellent communications skills • Technical Architecture Background and Experience • Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
