Description
• Senior Cloud Engineer to support federal customers in IT Modernization team • Provide engineering and technical support to build and maintain cloud offerings • Configure and install software in support of CI/CD environment • Responsible for managing network infrastructure, implementing best practices • Participate in daily scrums to discuss status of cloud network • Train customers and team in areas of expertise • Research issues, conduct analyses, and understand impact
Requirements
• BS degree and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience • Requires deep understanding of one or more of the cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP or OCI • Must be a U.S. Citizen and must have or can acquire a TS clearance • AWS, Azure, OCI and/or Google certifications (preferably multiple or at least one with strong experience) • Demonstratable understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ‘Everything-as-code’ approaches, DevOps processes and tools • Familiarity with serverless application design patterns • Understanding of the appropriate process alignment patterns between agile development processes and ‘DevOps’ infused ITIL processes
