Description

• Seeking an experienced and skilled Systems Engineer with multi-domain expertise. • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems. • Work with operational stakeholders, technology suppliers, and architects to refine requirements. • Model operational, business and system designs & behaviours within architectural views. • Develop specifications, compliance criteria, and validation plans. • Anticipate and manage transversal technical and business issues. • Engage with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to formulate engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the defence, security or other safety and security critical information systems sectors • Strong experience with systems modelling and in associated MBSE tools (e.g. NoMagic Cameo), Architectural Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and Languages (e.g. SysML) • Strong knowledge of requirements and user scenario development in both text based and model based approaches • Success in working within mission-critical systems integration programmes • Ability to work with several stakeholders and suppliers, working across organisational boundaries as appropriate • Experience of developing system behavioural diagrams, modelling interfaces and developing models to encapsulate functional & non-functional requirements and designs • Demonstrable successes within the System Engineering environment • Excellent customer facing skills, including being able to ingest large volumes of requirements and information developing clear understanding of customer hot buttons and needs • Understanding designing / delivering systems in a public cloud environment • Positive mindset • Capability to thrive in a multicultural setting • Excellent interpersonal abilities • Meticulous attention to detail • Ability to adhere to deadlines
