Description

• Support the Transport Engineering team’s projects • Participate in the planning of upgrades, replacement, configuration, and maintenance of networking equipment • Support automation efforts to reduce manual efforts and increase efficiencies • Collaborate with external customers, management, subcontractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines • Comply with ITSM processes and procedures • Comply with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) governance • Comply with Cybersecurity requirements • Support the development and maintenance of processes, checklists, and procedures

Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree program focusing in Networking, CS/CIS (or similar) major with graduation planned in 2025-2027 • Ability to obtain a security clearance • US citizenship required • Ability to obtain Security+ (or other relevant) certification to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) (preferred) • CCNA Certification (preferred) • CompTIA Network+ Certification (preferred) • Familiarity with Agile processes (preferred) • General Understanding of one or more of the following skills/tools and applications: Routing and switching protocols, Firewall, Wireless, Cloud-based services, Cisco SD-WAN and SDA (preferred)
