📋 Description
• Design, document and implement Cloud platform enhancements. • Make sure all changes done to Cloud infrastructure are auditable, reproducible and revertable. • Strive for cost-efficiency and simplicity over latest innovation. • Follow operational requirements and legislations for a global FinTech provider (DORA, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO, SOC2 etc). • Contribute to Internal Development Platform, API Management, CI/CD tooling. • Enhance observability set-up including logging, monitoring, alerting and tracing. • Continuously monitor deployed services performance and work with engineers to optimize for speed and responsiveness. • Work on implementation of disaster recovery and change deployment practices, which fulfill defined Service Level Objectives of reliability and availability. • Participate in the Incident Response taskforce as a responder for infrastructural issues. • Take full ownership of deliverables, from development to production release and beyond. • Collaborate closely with engineering, security and other relevant stakeholders to fulfill company goals. • Liaise with external vendors to find more optimal solutions to utilise their offerings. • Mentor and direct junior specialists, fostering a culture of learning, improvement and excellence.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience in System Administration, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering. • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code, with hands-on experience in Terraform and/or CloudFormation. • Strong understanding of AWS architecture components (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, Networking, etc), and design patterns. • Familiarity with containers (Docker) and how to operate those. • Solid understanding of security concepts, including encryption, key management, and authentication mechanisms. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions. ArgoCD etc).
