📋 Description

• Own major design projects, ensuring they align with company objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and grow within the team. • Play a key role in strategic planning for design initiatives, driving projects that advance our current capabilities. • Create engaging and intuitive UX/UI designs for our flagship product using Figma • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver and ship new features, sharing knowledge and enhancing team collaboration. • Present and rationalise designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and the leadership team. • Use available product data and perform qualitative/quantitative research to gain insights into our customers and make data informed decisions that positively impact the user experience • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards. • Independently manage projects, becoming a key contributor to the team and assuming responsibility for project delivery and outcomes. • Uphold ethical standards and create a supportive work environment to influence positive change within the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing complex responsive web platforms and native mobile apps. • Ability to assess design challenges and apply the most effective framework to drive meaningful progress, while considering project constraints. • Strong understanding and experience in working with Figma to deliver web/mobile applications. • Ability to unpack the problem space, journey map and generate ideas, in a lean and rapid way. Move from low-fidelity to through to high-fidelity through wireframing. • A strong interest in UI design, with practical knowledge and experience in applying user-centric design principles. • Experience in developing and maintaining design systems with practical knowledge of atomic design. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams • Curious and highly engaged with the latest product design, mobile app trends, and technology. • An innate drive for continuous learning and improvement. • Ability to prioritise team collaboration, open feedback, and aligning to business goals, over personal pride or attachment to individual ideas.
