📋 Description

• Provide security architecture expertise to assist with architecting and implementing security monitoring solutions and applications. • Focus on penetration testing. • Implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures. • Identify and classify sensitive data assets. • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). • Develop and deliver data security awareness training and education programs. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance policies. • Monitor and audit data access and usage to identify risks and violations. • Perform regular vulnerability scans and assessments of systems and applications. • Analyze scan results and prioritize remediation efforts based on overall risk. • Collaborate with IT and security teams to validate and remediate identified vulnerabilities. • Track remediation progress and ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities. • Contribute to the identification and assessment of security risks. • Maintain and update risk registers and reporting dashboards related to IT security. • Communicate security risks and vulnerabilities to stakeholders clearly and concisely. • Prepare and present reports on data governance initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and remediation efforts. • Utilize and manage vulnerability scanning and data security monitoring tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Information Systems, or relevant field required. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices. • Experience with data classification, access control, and data loss prevention techniques. • Proven experience in data governance, data security, risk assessment or vulnerability management. • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment methodologies and security best practices. • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS) is a plus. • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001). • Industry certifications such as Security+, GSEC, OSWA, GCIH, or GWAPT are a plus.
