📋 Description
• Actively participate in preparing, analyzing, and submitting Medicaid/Medicare cost reports. • Complete settlement accruals based on interim cost reports. • Support management in all reimbursement related matters for assigned facilities. • Review or prepare monthly revenue and contractual adjustment accruals. • Update Medicare rate assumptions and investigate payment discrepancies. • Coordinate audits of assigned facilities and respond to proposed audit adjustments. • Reconcile reimbursement settlement accounts. • Assist management in development of policies, procedures, reports, and tools to improve work product. • Prepare various financial or statistical analyses, reconciliations, research, or other special projects as necessary.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, systems or other degree preferred or with equivalent in years of experience • 3-5 years cost reporting and third-party accounting experience • Knowledge of GAAP accounting. • Excellent analytical skills. • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
