📋 Description
• Manage a controlled and compliant month-end close process • Manage the end-to-end general ledger close process • Support and continuous improvement and accounting standardization initiatives • Organize P&L and balance sheet analysis • Support hospital leadership with post close analysis • Manage joint venture accounting • Maintain primary support role to facilities in fiscal year budgets • Ensure internal controls are adequate for financial reporting • Serve as liaison with external stakeholders
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance • 5-7 years of experience in Healthcare Financial Operations and/or Hospital Financial Operations • Key Accounting skills: P&L and Balance Sheet Analysis, understanding of revenue valuation, deep experience managing a month-end close • Comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition and analysis, projects and capital accounting • Understanding of Oracle and EPM financial reporting tools, standard operational reports, RCA and revenue accounting • Certified Public Accountant (preferred) • Active CPA License (Preferred)
