Description

• Participate in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations • Review credit card and bank transactions to ensure appropriate coding and that transactions are supported by a receipt or invoice • Set up new vendors and validate all required documentation has been provided • Assist in implementing and documenting accounting procedures • Answer financial and accounting questions by researching and interpreting data • Assist with annual internal and external audits including preparation of required schedules, providing requested backup • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance • Other projects as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • 1+ years accounting experience; experience within a publicly traded company or public accounting preferred • Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to think critically, take ownership, and see a process/project through to the end • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Adaptability, responsiveness to change, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
