Description

• The Software Engineering Lead heads the technical direction of an empowered product team and is responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements and development milestones. • Collaborate with product owners and team in task planning, estimation, scheduling, staffing and definition of high-level timeline estimates for major projects. • Provide technical leadership by determining technical requirements, exploring new technologies and determining system and software architecture. • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best practices, conducting code reviews and leading architectural discussions. • Own engineering support for the product and work closely with product management and design team to meet SLAs.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field • 7+ years of overall experience in software development; at least 5 years in a Lead Engineer role, as technical lead for a product team • Expertise in C# or Java • Ability to work collaboratively with product management, design and engineering support • Experience with agile, CI/CD, automated testing, feature flags and software development design patterns • Ability to create technical documentation • Experience with AI and LLM preferred • Ability to apply technical understanding to business and client needs, preferred
