Description
•Conceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay systems that achieve a fulfilling flow state, addictive game loops, and a risk/reward balance •Be an active member of the development team using inclusive collaborative frameworks with diverse teams to decide on goals and establish the stories players want to tell within a given release •Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups) that details the triggers, interactions, and subsequent events of specific features or aspects of gameplay •Be resourceful and solve problems using the tools and time/scope available to create unique and fun experiences for players. •Collaborate with cross functional teams such as art, narrative, animation to ideate and delivery new player character designs •Have an eye for improving process and efficiency to make life easier for the Design team. •Collaborate with the Development team to create clear and concise design documents for feature implementation •Communicate the technical requirements and vision for design workflows and pipelines.
Requirements
•Thoughtful Problem Solving: Build a structured approach for complex game systems that maintain game quality while minimising complexity. •Experience. 4+ years of experience in professional game design experience •Technical Abilities: Exposed with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent task tracking and collaborative environments •Flexibility : Remain flexible in the changing priorities, while work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
