📋 Description

• The Senior Accountant, Accounting Quality plans and executes North American store reviews and consolidated risk based analytical review procedures • Works alongside other members of the Accounting Quality Team reviewing store compliance with dealership accounting policies, US GAAP, and other regulations • Plays a key role in supporting initiatives to maintain quality and consistency in financial reporting across Lithia’s North American network

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills • Strong time and project management abilities • Effectively articulates problems and contributes constructive solutions to discussions • History of maintaining composure and delivering results consistently when performing field work or operating against deadlines • Adapts to change and switches tasks seamlessly as priorities evolve • Proficient in data analysis and technology utilization, including Microsoft Excel • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics preferred, relevant work experience in dealership accounting or general accounting considered in lieu of a degree • 2+ years of relevant experience, public accounting and CPA, CIA, or CISA designations a plus • Willingness to travel 25-50% of work hours
