📋 Description
• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of Python-based ETL pipelines, specifically designed to manage global commercial insurance data. • Working within the Microsoft Azure environment, including Synapse and PowerBI, you will drive the planning, capacity management, and proactive oversight of service components. • Your role will involve coordinating complex server infrastructure, databases, and software maintenance while adhering to Allianz Technology standards. • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service management, monitoring, and SLA adherence, while also supporting risk assessments and audits. • Documentation and process optimization are key elements of this role, as well as the coordination of releases, upgrades, and changes with stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
• Preferably at least 5 years’ experience in data engineering • At least 2 years’ experience with data oriented Python (Polars, Pandas, Pyspark,…) • At least 1 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure • Solid understanding of cloud architecture • ITIL Experience with software as a service concept • Strong analytical skills • Organizing abilities • Strong customer focus • Can rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities • Advanced English is a must • Excellent communication skills with high customer focus • Nice to have: Experience with Synapse, Delta Lake and/or PowerBI • Experience in Bl Projects • Familiarity with DevOps processes • Familiarity with DataVault 2.0
