Description

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure for the GDW product, ensuring high availability and scalability. • Oversee the end-to-end release process of data products, facilitating smooth deployments and rollbacks. • Collaborate with development teams to integrate a 3NF logical data model with the ABS backend database. • Manage data ingestion processes, including batch ingestion and near real-time processing using Kafka. • Ensure robust data historization, delta detection, and technical data quality checks are in place. • Optimize performance across various runtime environments, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and ADP Azure Synapse. • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, implementing best practices for automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on SaaS applications. • Strong understanding of infrastructure management, cloud services, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with data processing methodologies, including batch and real-time data streaming. • Proficiency in Python and experience with custom frameworks in a data context. • Knowledge of database management systems, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment. • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
