📋 Description

• Lodestar Consulting is seeking a full-time DevOps Automation SME for Federal client support. • Role involves streamlining software development life cycle using DevOps methodologies. • Responsibilities include automating processes, advising engineers, collaborating with teams, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring automation system stability. • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University or Institution. • Certifications: Comptia Security+ is required. • Must hold an active DoD IT-1/TS security clearance (requires US Citizenship).

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years supporting DevOps Automation teams • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing full-scale automation strategies within a DevOps environment • A track record of problem-solving within high-pressure scenarios will demonstrate your capability to handle the dynamic challenges this role presents • Ability to bring proactive approaches to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management is essential • Experience with cloud services, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet • Ability to script in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby will be crucial in creating custom automation solutions • Strong understanding of version control systems like Git will be necessary to maintain code quality and collaboration • Well-versed in a variety of DevOps methodologies and tools • Preferred: Experience working with Federal or DoD organizations is strongly preferred
