Description
• As an Android Software Engineer, you’ll drive a major transformation. • Develop Android client code solutions that adhere to established engineering best practices. • Partner with Engineering, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts for quality customer experiences. • Actively participate in agile ceremonies to deliver team commitments. • Be an advocate of the mobile platform in developer communities. • Remain an active learner in technologies related to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, etc.). • Engage with developers outside local sprint team. • Lead delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with Senior Engineers. • Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams. • Identify technical obstacles and find creative solutions. • Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other idioms.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree • At least 2 years of experience in software engineering • At least 1 year of experience building Android applications • At least 1 year of experience with Kotlin • 2+ years of experience building Android applications (preferred) • 2+ years of experience with Kotlin (preferred) • 1+ years of experience in open-source frameworks (preferred) • 1+ years of experience with Agile practices (preferred)
