Description

• Founded in 2017, Lokalise is a cloud-based translation management system that helps businesses streamline their localization processes. • You will play a key role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our software products and improving developer productivity. • Architect and drive the implementation of innovative testing solutions, mentor engineers, and influence our quality strategy. • Design, build, select, and maintain test automation frameworks or leverage existing tools to meet a wide range of testing needs. • Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy that aligns with our engineering goals. • Act as a technical leader by mentoring software engineers in best practices for testing and quality assurance. • Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify risks early and ensure timely resolution of defects. • Lead initiatives to enhance testing processes and tools, seeking opportunities for automation and productivity gains. • Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for testing frameworks, processes, and guidelines. • Monitor, analyze, and report on test outcomes, using data to drive decisions and improve effectiveness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in test automation: Experience as a developer with proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks, preferably using modern programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript. • Advanced experience with CI/CD automation: Proficient in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, with tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar. • Expertise in Functional and Non-functional Testing: Deep understanding of various testing types, including regression, integration, performance, and security testing. • Proficiency in API and Web Testing: Significant experience with testing RESTful APIs and web applications, using tools such as Playwright or Selenium. • Experience with contract testing: Validating third-party integrations (e.g., Shopify), ensuring reliable and consistent communication with external services. • Experience with Performance Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Artillery, JMeter, or k6. • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. • Leadership and Mentorship Experience: Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers in test automation practices.
