• Report to the Director of Engineering • Ensure safe, reliable, and economic operation of wind, solar, and battery energy storage facilities • Manage return to service troubleshooting, performance improvement initiatives, and major repairs • Coordinate with design and construction engineers to ensure operational readiness of new projects
• BSEE in power systems from an accredited university • 2 years of experience in electrical power systems engineering and operations • Experience with substation and transmission troubleshooting • Experience reviewing and understanding events created by protection system relays • Understanding of overhead or underground collection systems • Familiarity with NERC and FERC requirements • Must be available to travel up to 30% of the time for periods of up to a week • Available for remote troubleshooting and technical support outside of normal work hours • Ability to understand and work within project and department budgets
