Description

• The Succession & Protection Planning team is part of LPL’s Financial Solutions group • Delivers end-to-end legacy planning support for LPL's 28,000+ advisors and financial institutions • Responsible for providing business valuations, onboarding support, and serving as a succession and protection planning expert • Support daily operations including valuations, new participant onboarding, advisor interviews, business analysis, and client support • Become a specialist and subject matter expert in the Assurance Plan, small business mergers and acquisitions, and death/disability strategies • Ability to think strategically and provide insights • Responsible for providing excellent service through phone, video, and email • Maintain accurate detailed records on each transaction and client interaction • Manage succession planning project intake and workflows utilizing internal resources • Support escalations by both internal business partners and our advisors • Understand continuity, succession, and corporate planning options • Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes • Ad-hoc analysis, financial data entry, and additional responsibilities

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Economics preferred • 2+ years of wealth management, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate development customer service preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to synthesize complex processes and communicate into digestible messages • Ability to present complex topics in an engaging way with partners and clients • Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and pivot as needed • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus • Knowledge of financial concepts preferred • Ability to work within a team, take the initiative, and show strong attention to detail • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity • Self-driven individual with a high level of motivation • Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence and integrity
