• Oversee and manage financial operations of the organization. • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Maintain integrity of financial systems and controls. • Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. • Manage audits and oversee budgeting. • Provide strategic financial analysis for programs and initiatives. • Prepare and review financial statements and reports. • Monitor cash flow and liquidity for operations. • Supervise finance and accounting team. • Collaborate with HR in employee benefits administration. • Ensure compliance with grants and financial aspects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred). • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the nonprofit sector. • Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, GAAP, and compliance requirements. • Experience with financial management systems, accounting software, especially QuickBooks, Bill.com, and advanced proficiency in Excel. • Proven ability to manage audits, budgets, and financial reporting in a nonprofit setting. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders. • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. • CPA certification or equivalent advanced degree. • Experience with grant management and reporting. • Familiarity with nonprofit tax regulations and Form 990 preparation.
