• Manage and administer employee benefits programs and leaves for Costa Rica and serve as the primary point of contact for all related inquiries. • Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and ensure adherence to organizational policies and local regulations. • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments by evaluating current employees, systems, files, and documentation to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement strategies to mitigate operational risks. • Maintain and manage HRIS data ensuring accuracy and timely updates for employee records, benefits, and leave tracking. • Generate reports for HR metrics, compliance, and management decision-making, while ensuring data confidentiality and integrity. • Oversee Occupational Health and Safety to ensure a safe work environment, complying with local regulations and company policies, and conduct regular safety audits, provide employee training, and address workplace accidents. • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR matters in Costa Rica, maintaining cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment with global HR initiatives. • Collaborate with departments to address employee needs, support HR processes, and ensure compliance with local regulations. • Ensure continuity of operations through effective cross-training, establishing backups within the HR department. • Support the full employee lifecycle and influence employee engagement and wellbeing. • Participate in ad hoc projects, offering opportunities for professional growth and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in an HR Generalist capacity. • Nice to have - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of HR practices and Costa Rica employment laws. • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Namely), and document management tools (e.g., DocuSign). • Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet) for team collaboration and Jira for project management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to take ownership and follow up adequately. • Languages: English - C1 Proficiency.
