📋 Description
• As a Data Engineering Intern, work with the Business Intelligence team to help extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from both internal and external sources into a Snowflake data warehouse. • Gain hands-on experience using tools such as SQL, Airflow, and Google Cloud to orchestrate data flows and support data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate closely with a diverse team of report developers, product owners, and QA staff in an agile environment. • Analyze, extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into a Snowflake warehouse. • Use SQL and API calls to extract and transform data. • Manage and orchestrate data flows using Airflow in Google Cloud. • Participate in daily team huddles, collaborating with engineers and product teams. • Work closely with report developers to create target tables and views for reports. • Partner with product owners and QA staff to validate and promote code to production. • Update JIRA Kanban board and sprint board to manage progress in an agile environment.
🎯 Requirements
• Senior Undergraduate Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Git, and Linux. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, and Snowflake.
