📋 Description
• Lynker Corporation is a leading provider of innovative solutions in weather and climate science. • Support the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) in conducting a comprehensive baseline study of air quality in Puerto Rico. • Utilize existing monitoring data and advanced modeling techniques to assess the impact of potential offshore wind (OSW) projects on regional air quality.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, with strong preference for advanced degrees, in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 6-10 years of proven experience in air quality analysis and modeling, particularly in using dispersion and photochemical models. • Familiarity with EPA’s AQS data and tools like AVERT and COBRA for emissions and health impact assessments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large datasets. • Proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS) and statistical software for spatial data analysis. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presentations. • Familiarity with federal regulations and standards related to air quality and environmental protection.
