• Lead IT Strategy Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company’s goals, focusing on scalable solutions that improve overall technology performance, including VOIP systems, internet infrastructure, and network services. • Manage, mentor, and inspire the IT team. Provide direction and support to staff across different disciplines (networking, VOIP, security, etc.). • Ensure professional development and career growth opportunities for team members. • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, including VOIP system upgrades, network improvements, and internet connectivity initiatives. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for both ongoing operations and capital expenditures. • Oversee VOIP Systems Management VOIP Infrastructure Design & Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of VOIP systems to ensure high-quality voice communication and seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure. Troubleshooting & Support: Oversee troubleshooting of VOIP-related issues, including call quality, connectivity problems, and hardware/software failures. Collaborate with other teams to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime. • Manage relationships with VOIP service providers, ensuring that SLAs are met and costs are optimized. • Evaluate new technologies and services that could enhance the company’s VOIP infrastructure. • Oversee Internet Engineering & Network Infrastructure: Network Architecture & Design: Oversee the design and implementation of robust and scalable internet connectivity solutions to support business operations. Ensure network security, bandwidth optimization, and high availability. • Manage the company’s internet infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, optimizing traffic flow, and addressing issues such as latency, bottlenecks, or service interruptions. • Ensure the integrity and security of the company’s internet and VOIP systems. Implement industry best practices for network security, data protection, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Project Management, Account Management and Finance) to ensure IT solutions meet business needs and enhance cross-functional workflows. • Provide leadership and direction for the IT helpdesk and support teams, ensuring efficient issue resolution and user satisfaction. Conduct training sessions for employees on VOIP systems and internet-related tools. • Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategy with organizational goals. • Participate in long-term business planning to ensure technology is leveraged effectively to meet evolving business needs. • Stay up to date with the latest trends in VOIP technology, internet engineering, and IT management. Evaluate new tools, platforms, and methodologies that can improve the efficiency and capabilities of the organization’s technology infrastructure. • Explore opportunities to leverage cloud-based technologies to improve scalability, reduce costs, and streamline operations, particularly in VOIP and internet services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • At least 7-10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership or management roles. • Extensive experience with VOIP systems (e.g., NetSapien, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and internet engineering, including the design, deployment, and management of VOIP infrastructure and internet networks. • Proven track record in network design, internet connectivity management, and security protocols (e.g., VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS). • Strong experience managing IT teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments to implement and improve technology solutions. • Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, etc.) • Expertise in VOIP technologies (SIP, RTP, H.323, PBX, etc.) and telecommunications systems. • Experience with internet service providers (ISP), broadband technologies, and WAN optimization. • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proactive, strategic thinker with a focus on business outcomes. • Preferred qualifications Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certifications. • VOIP-related certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate – Collaboration, etc.) • Experience with unified communications systems o Familiarity with cloud telephony platforms. • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
