• Migrate databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL • Actively participate in the hands-on execution of the migration process • Undertake Database Administration tasks on the PostgreSQL database post-migration • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration • Create comprehensive documentation for the migration process • Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for the PostgreSQL database
Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Migration Engineer (Administrator) with a focus on Oracle to PostgreSQL migration projects • Expertise in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL database management • Strong proficiency in SQL, database design, performance tuning, and optimization • Excellent problem-solving skills • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
