Description

• Install, configure, maintain and administer Oracle databases • Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle database issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize SQL queries and database design for optimization • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to database-related emergencies outside of business hours

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field • Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are highly desirable • Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with expertise in managing Oracle databases on RAC, Exadata, and AWS RDS platforms • Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting • Familiarity with database security principles and best practices • Experience in planning and executing database upgrades, patches, and migrations • Knowledge of database monitoring and performance optimization tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively • Familiarity with AWS RDS • Expertise with tools like AWS SCT, DMS is a plus • Familiarity with ITIL practices and working in an ITIL-driven environment is preferred
