📋 Description
• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Python, Airflow, Kubernetes, and large-scale data processing to join our remote team. • This role is open exclusively to candidates residing in Mexico or Latam. • As a key team member, you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing frameworks that enable efficient and scalable data operations. • You will work with large datasets from various sources, develop data integrations, and ensure high-quality data transformation, modeling, and analysis. • This role requires a deep understanding of big data architectures, ETL processes, and cloud-based storage solutions. • If you are passionate about data engineering and love solving complex data challenges, we’d love to connect with you!
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related field • Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem for data processing and automation • Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration • Deep understanding of Kubernetes for managing containerized data workflows • Expertise in data integrations, including working with data connectors, APIs, and ingestion frameworks • Experience with data transformation and modeling, creating reusable data structures for analytics and processing • Proficiency in storage solutions such as S3, Parquet, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake • Solid experience with big data processing using Spark, SQL, or similar frameworks • Familiarity with OCR processing techniques for extracting structured data from scanned documents • Hands-on experience with data exploration tools, such as Jupyter notebooks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying Python-based algorithms for data analysis • Experience working in agile development environments • Nice to Have: Experience with serverless architectures for data processing • Knowledge of event-driven data pipelines • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools for insights presentation • Familiarity with machine learning models and AI-driven data processing techniques
