Description
• Leverage expertise in data architecture, engineering, and analytical skills to design and build scalable data pipelines. • Analyze complex datasets to support business intelligence, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business solutions and improve patient outcomes. • Design, build, and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support robust data analysis. • Apply advanced data engineering techniques to integrate complex data sets and optimize workflows.
Requirements
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a proven track record of designing and building scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. • Proficiency in writing production-level code in Python, with experience in other programming languages like Java or Scala being a plus. • Strong experience with SQL, database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Deep understanding of ETL processes and tools (AWS, Glue Jobs, S3) with experience in building robust data pipelines. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. • Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Airflow. • Ability to analyze and extract insights from large datasets using data querying tools (e.g., SQL, Python). • Experience with monitoring and maintaining data pipeline performance and ensuring data quality and integrity. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of structure and organization. • Must be eligible to live and work in Italy; willingness to relocate if not currently residing in Italy.
