Description

• Establish and manage computational infrastructure, including cloud services, to support the development and deployment of internal software • Develop, test, and maintain various design and analysis software for experimental work. • Collaborate with bioinformaticians to convert biological challenges into computational solutions for use by wet lab scientists • Gather scientist requirements and feedback and incorporate them into the development process • Provide continuous technical guidance and support for engineers, bioinformaticians and data scientists • Document and regularly present data at internal meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems or relevant quantitative field with a minimum of 9+ years experience in industry settings (Masters with 7+ years of experience or PhD with 4+ years of experience) • Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure • Experience in creating pipelines using workflow orchestration systems including Dockerizing solutions • Experience in developing user-facing applications • Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaborative development • Proficiency in SQL and managing SQL databases • Proficiency in Python and ReactJS (Redux)
