• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Office of Clean Energy Demonstration (OCED) • Ensure policies align with regulatory requirements, organizational goals, and industry best practices • Develop, revise, and maintain comprehensive organizational policies and procedures • Support organizational compliance and operational excellence • Contribute to a culture of transparency and accountability • Conduct research, analyze data, and work closely with OCED federal staff • Coordinate and lead policy collaboration meetings with key OCED stakeholders • Collaborate with the OCED Program Management team to write, revise, develop, evaluate, and validate policies, procedures, and guidelines • Provide a thorough understanding of project/program management to inform the development of policies, procedures, and guidance • Interface with subject matter experts to develop appropriate documentation • Assist OCED in determining gaps across policies and provide recommendations on updates • Ensure all documentation is DOE compliant • Develop deployment plans for communicating new guidance • Provide recommendations and reports on policies, projects, and/or research OCED should pursue
• U.S. Citizen • Bachelor’s degree • 16 years of experience developing policy • Strong / extensive experience developing organizational and Project Management policies, procedures, and guides for the Federal government • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio • Background in the energy industry or private sector supporting billion-dollar commercial infrastructure projects • Experience with DOE Project Management Orders • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (throughout all levels of the organization) • High degree of self-confidence and determination • Advanced organizational and management skills • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities and assignments without diminished effectiveness • Ability to work individually, as part of a team, or leading a team
