• MaraTech is on a mission to lead the charge in sustainable cooling technologies. • The Business Development Manager will spearhead this relationship on behalf of MaraTech. • This role will influence decisions through a collaborative, data-driven approach focused on driving technology innovation, adoption, and public endorsement across the two groups. • Drive MaraTech’s products to outshine the competition. • Position MaraTech as the leader in tailored tech solutions, seizing growth opportunities. • Forge strong, collaborative relationships with Mara Utilities and Mara Energy. • Spearhead innovation by collaborating closely with internal teams. • Align with Marathon’s goals of fostering innovation and driving growth. • Become a trusted advisor to Mara Utilities and Energy Harvesting. • Leverage Mara Utilities’ endorsement to boost MaraTech’s industry standing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, environmental science, business, operations, management, or a related field. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably within the technology, renewable energy industry, or related sectors such as clean technology, energy efficiency, or environmental consulting. • In-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and industry dynamics, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, geothermal, and energy storage. • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and close deals effectively. • Ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to identify new business opportunities, assess market demand, and position the company's offerings competitively. • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, investors, and government agencies. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and value propositions clearly and persuasively. • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations, to develop and execute business development initiatives. • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and driving positive change in the renewable energy industry. • This role requires strategic thinking. • Industry knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to drive MaraTech’s mission of leading sustainable cooling technologies. • Supporting Mara Utilities and Energy Harvesting.
