Description

• Operates in a supporting role within the compliance department of a nationally operating company. • Assists with legal regulatory research and monitoring, policy review and preparation. • Manages, creates, implements, and administers various elements of the Marathon Health Compliance Program. • Provides regulatory guidance and counsel to internal clients. • Provides advice on a range of healthcare compliance matters, including clinical practices, clinical forms, privacy matters, and business strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a strong academic record; • healthcare regulatory experience. • 5+ years of experience advising in healthcare regulatory and relevant consumer protection laws. • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of regulatory frameworks of HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, HITRUST, SOC 2 advising on information security requirements, incident preparedness, response, breach notification obligations, communications plans and remediation. • Growth mindset • Solid business focus with practical risk awareness.
