Description
• Fire & Security Surveyor - Home Based Covering Scotland • Conducting site surveys to assess client needs and system requirements • Undertake technical surveys to obtain information required to provide fully compliant quotations to undertake any Fire and/or Security System works. • Identify clear and concise scope of works from clients to determine the best solution and guide the client in terms of compliance. • Complete maintenance, installation, and asset tender pricing requests, as well as any associated technical information gathering. • Issue minor works proposals to clients in line with the client’s requirements and MFS working practices. • Creating detailed reports and recommendations for fire and security systems • Providing cost estimates and quotations for proposed solutions • Collaborating with project teams to ensure successful implementation of survey findings • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Requirements
• At least 3-5 years of experience in fire and security surveying or a related field • Strong knowledge of fire and security systems including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in using surveying tools and software • Proven experience in fire and security surveying, with a strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
