📋 Description
• Passive Fire Engineer - Candidate will ideally be Midlands based, the role will involve UK wide travel. • Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking a skilled Passive Fire Engineer to join their team. • As a Passive Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for installing components and systems that slow down and/or inhibit the spread of fire or smoke. • This includes working on floor-ceilings and roofs, fire doors, windows, wall assemblies, fire-resistant coatings, and other fire and smoke control assemblies. • Installing and supervising Passive Fire Installations in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on projects of varying sizes. • Ensuring Fire Stopping installations adhere to current industrial standards. • Ensuring projects are delivered on time. • Providing technical expertise and supporting risk assessments and method statements. • Delivering regular updates through reporting programs.
🎯 Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience as a Passive Fire Engineer • Minimum GNVQ Level 2 qualification in Fire Stopping • Familiarity with British Standards and EN regulations • Self-motivation and flexibility, with the ability to work away from home when required • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
