📋 Description

• We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Customer Experience Platform team at a leading genomics diagnostics company. • This role will focus on externally facing applications that enable customers to order tests and manage test results. • The key responsibilities of this role will be as follows: Design, write, and maintain high-quality and robust software applications and services to meet team goals. • Collaborate with teammates and product managers in developing development roadmaps and sprint planning. • Assist in the establishment and adherence to robust and compliant software development best practices. • Play a role in cross-functional development with other teams as required. • Contribute to continuous improvement in the operating model of the team. • Ensure quality technical implementation within our platform. • Lead peer reviews of others’ code and provide mentorship on improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, patterns, and methods. • 8+ years of professional experience designing and supporting robust applications. • Experience developing back-end services in one or more languages (e.g. Python, NodeJS, C#, Go). • Experience developing front-end applications using modern frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, or Angular). • Experience with any cloud services. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, and logging. • Track record of developing and maintaining scalable production software. • Able to drive design and execution of technical proposals as an individual contributor or technical project lead. • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish.
