📋 Description

• The Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant will play a key role in supporting the MaryRuth’s Quality Assurance department. • This role will help advance the team by supporting the Quality Control Specialist, focusing on reviewing various technical product documents. • Organizing and maintaining up-to-date documentation and records, fulfilling internal and external documentation requests, and general QA-related support and coordination. • The QA Assistant will support product documentation processes by examining product information for discrepancies and flagging areas that require further investigation or clarification. • Some travel (<5%) may be required on an as-needed basis, with advance notice provided to the employee.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience strongly preferred. • Experience with USA FDA 21 CFR 111, 114, 117, and other applicable Quality regulations within the CPG and VMS industries; knowledge of additional relevant regulatory items. • Comfort and proficiency in reviewing and understanding technical documentation related to VMS products. • Microsoft and/or Google proficiency preferred, especially Excel and/or Sheets. • ASQ or GMP Certification is a plus. • Outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills required. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbal and written (including highly-technical documentation). • Adaptable and capable of working independently and with urgency. • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. • Ability to understand and interpret Finished Product Specifications and other technical Quality documentation. • Familiarity with QMS systems.
