Description

• We are looking for a Front-End Javascript developer with experience in core web technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue to work as part of our highly successful Justride team. • The Justride team is responsible for the development and maintenance of several web applications used by customers of the Justride platform. • We ensure high standards through comprehensive end-to-end and unit testing, as well as refactoring to ensure we work to the latest standards and best practices. • We work as part of a cross-discipline team that delivers robust and reusable components originating from product requirements through UX, design, development, and quality assurance. • We are looking for a proactive person to join the team and actively contribute to code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, mentoring and technical road-mapping.

Requirements

• A good command of the English language is required for this role, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Skilled in using JavaScript component frameworks like Vue and Angular • Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability, including building and testing applications to adhere to WCAG AA-Level compliance. • Experienced with client-side bundlers such as Vite, Webpack or Rollup • Committed to engaging within an active engineering community focused on improving development experiences for all. • Skilled in making pragmatic decisions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences • Approachable, patient, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment • Passionate about maintaining technical quality and user-centred design • Champion of best practices across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, automated testing, and operations
