Description

• Join our dynamic team as a QA Engineer to drive testing improvements at Masabi. • Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for new feature releases. • Conduct end-to-end testing for the Justride platform. • Collaborate with engineering delivery teams to tailor documentation and test plans. • Conduct User Acceptance Testing and report defects. • Verify and document outputs from all testing phases. • Create standard test protocols for account-based ticketing deployments. • Establish quality metrics for new platform updates. • Support post-release testing and customer feedback. • Coordinate testing activities to meet project timelines. • Work to automate manual test plans and enhance testing processes.

Requirements

• Strong manual and automated testing experience in complex systems • Experience in test automation skills and knowledge of automated test tools for mobile and web applications • Experience in developing comprehensive test strategies and test cases for cross-functional features in complex environments • Proven track record of implementing end-to-end QA/testing processes, documenting them effectively, and driving continuous improvement • Ability to provide detailed defect metrics and suggest strategies to enhance quality • Experience collaborating effectively with engineers on testing features and advocating for QA processes • Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts and uncovering the root cause of complex issues • Skilled in using test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or PractiTest, with essential experience in Jira and familiarity with source code management tools like GitLab • A collaborative team player who consistently goes above and beyond to achieve team goals • Exceptional communication skills, capable of fostering trust and rapport with customers • Proficient in crafting clear and concise documents and reports • Cross-browser testing experience • Experience in validating APIs using tools like Postman • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle • Proficiency in debugging logs using browser and mobile application developer tools • Basic knowledge of SQL (nice to have) • Transit, Transport Agency, or fare collection knowledge or exposure (nice to have)
