• Providing legal advice to clients on the terms and implications of canceling a contract • Drafting cancellation notices, termination letters, and settlement agreements • Negotiating with the other party involved to reach a mutually agreeable termination or settlement • Representing clients in legal disputes related to contract cancellation • Assisting clients in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation or arbitration • Ensuring that the termination process adheres to legal requirements and minimizing the risk of legal repercussions • Keeping clients informed about the progress of their case • Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents • Developing strategies for handling complex cancellation scenarios • Maintaining detailed records of all communications, documents, and actions taken during the cancellation process
• At least 2 years of immigration law experience • Strong understanding of immigration-related laws and procedures • Excellent case management skills • Client-service mindset and effective communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a growing legal team • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
