📋 Description
• Maxio is looking for a Design Engineer to join our Product Design team and help bridge the gap between design and development. • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and evolve Maxio’s design system. • Design reusable components and patterns that align with Maxio’s design principles. • Conduct usability testing and prototype components to ensure they meet both user needs and technical requirements. • Create clear, comprehensive documentation to support adoption across diverse teams.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in product design or front-end engineering, preferably within a SaaS environment. • Proven experience building and maintaining design systems. • Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and React) and tools such as Figma and Storybook. • Strong skills in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping demonstrated through a portfolio of work, spanning desktop and mobile surfaces. • Familiarity with design tokens, API-based design systems, or other advanced system architectures. • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of partnering with design, engineering, and product teams. • Strong organizational skills and a love for documentation.
