Description
• Interprets protocols from a financial perspective; develops clinical trial budgets, negotiates pricing, and presents budget proposals to executive management. • Duties include creating new budgets in Excel, analyzing clinical trial protocols for counteroffers, maintaining communication about budget statuses, negotiating budgets, and preparing budgets for executive presentation. • Collaborates with Contract Analyst; interfaces with finance team; processes vendor agreements and budget amendments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree • At least 1 year work experience utilizing basic financial principles, Excel, and other data management tools (e.g. CTMS) • At least 1 year of experience in budget negotiation • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and other complex formulas • Familiarity with clinical research and/or medical terminology • Functional knowledge of clinical trials, preferred • Analytical decision-making skills • Project management capabilities • Strong negotiation and professional communication skills
