• Oversee ad hoc database development and modification efforts across multiple platforms, including online systems. • Design and implement secure, efficient, and accurate databases for project-based use. • Stay current with data storage and management best practices. • Ensure databases are designed to meet specifications and requirements while minimizing costs. • Develop and maintain documentation and standards. • Assist senior teammates by identifying and resolving production or application development issues related to the database management system software or utilities. • Gather, organize, and analyze statistical data from the database to generate reports and respond to queries from senior leaders. • Support short-term project management, including assigning tasks, tracking progress at the record level, and providing real-time status updates. • Transform non-traditional or unstructured data into organized, structured, and reportable formats using available tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field is required. • At least three years of experience in Data Processing, with at least two years working with database management systems, or two years of experience as a development programmer/analyst using database techniques. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and other database programs. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web-based languages is preferred. • Strong understanding of database design and construction.
