Description
• Davies Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Desk Engineer to join our Automotive Engineering team. • Assess value and negotiate repair costs, provide vehicle valuations, and negotiate total loss settlements. • Understanding salvage categories and claims management is essential. • Experience with vehicle estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix is required.
Requirements
• Qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard with current or recent experience working as an automotive engineer or body shop estimator. • Structured in your approach with effective time management and the ability to manage your workload, prioritising to ensure that deadlines are met • Good attention to detail, analytical thinker, solutions focused and great at problem solving • Thrives working in a fast paced and changing environment with the ability to work using own initiative • Verbal and written communication to an exceptional standard • Capable of handling sensitive and confidential material • Confident negotiator
