As a Service Operations Analyst, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the IT service(s) to which you are aligned (for example; Network and Telephony, Business Applications and/or End User Computing) as well as supporting the other services as required. You will adopt an automation-first, problem management-focused mindset for ticket management and resolution, focussing on addressing the root cause of issues, not just the symptoms and prevent repeat occurrences. You will provide support for major incidents including coordinating and facilitating MI calls, managing communications and collaborating with customers and stakeholders and ensuring resolution steps are managed and implemented. In this role, you will actively contribute to the culture of continual improvement, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance processes and procedures for overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Several years experience of supporting Windows Operating Systems via ServiceDesk/IT support set-up Extensive working knowledge of Active Directory, including group policy Expertise in administering the Office365 suite (Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Understanding of PC hardware diagnosis, set-up, and configuration Good working knowledge of LAN/WAN principals and TCP/IP protocols Understanding of PC/Server hardware set-up and configuration Knowledge of Telephony systems Mobile Device Management Creating/Amending Mailbox Groups within Microsoft Exchange Online ITIL4 foundation or above Analytical with solid problem solving skills. Customer centric with ability to translate technical terminology to non-technical folk A team player who is also able to work autonomously and take ownership of their queue
