• Gather requirements • Identify, qualify and document functional and non-functional requirements • Document the requirements using the most appropriate technique for the change e.g. Requirements, User Stories, Diagrams etc. • Develop the business requirements into a functional solution • Agree the use cases to be supported and their inputs and outputs • Work with 3rd parties to agree interfaces • Define the user experience • Enable the business and operational implementation of the change • Document the business logic to be converted into code • Produce High Level Definitions • Scope the end-to-end solution for new implementations • Define the interactions with 3rd parties • Agree the high-level use cases to be supported • Design and map the business and operational processes required to support the solution • Provide input and support to development, test and implementation as designs move through the lifecycle • Act as the bridge between the customer/stakeholder and the delivery team during the build/QA part of the lifecycle • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and what success looks like for them, and represent those user/customer needs and priorities into the delivery team • Create and communicate the product vision to the delivery team
