📋 Description
• Develop a deep understanding of portfolio capabilities and new releases • Research and collaborating with target audiences • Research and gathering user, and technical user information • Create clear and concise material, including visuals, to provide step by step guides to accomplish tasks with defined outcomes • Take care of layout design and consistency, editing and proofreading to ensure documentation meets Marigold technical writing standards • Update, revise, and rewrite existing materials • Keep up to date with best practices in documentation
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years technical writing experience in B2B software • Excellent technical writing and editing skills with attention to detail • Ability to communicate complex concepts, processes and business outcomes, clearly and concisely for the target audiences including marketing and technical users • Preference for collaboration and feedback to continuously improve • Ability to engage with all stakeholders including product, SMEs, engineering, support, technical services and customer success teams • Tenacity to pursue a deep understanding of all required subject matter from a wide range of sources and colleagues to ensure highly effective documentation • Knowledge of Marigold capabilities • Familiarity with Madcap Flare or similar technical authoring tool • Experience with digital marketing and a strong understanding of the MarTech space
