Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Meetsta’s Android app version using Kotlin. • Implement and optimize gRPC-based communication for seamless interactions with backend services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features that align with business and user needs. • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app through robust testing and optimization. • Identify and fix bugs to improve app stability and performance. • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, libraries, and best practices to continuously improve the app. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Experience in Android app development with a strong focus on Kotlin and Jetpack Compose (UI). • Experience with gRPC for fast and efficient communication between Android apps and backend services. • Experience with databases like PostgreSQL. • Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android architecture components, and best practices for Android development. • Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration with backend services. • Proficiency in version control (Github) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. • Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and experience working with designers to create smooth user experiences. • Familiarity with tools such as Android Studio and Gradle. • Experience with app performance optimization, including memory management and battery usage. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience with push notifications, offline storage, and background processing. • Previous experience in social networking or mobile-first platforms is a plus.
